NHHI Svømming

NHHI Swimming is the male swimming team at the Norwegian School of Economics (Norges Handelshøyskole). On April 19, 2012, a group of friends realized that the school was missing an official swim team and decided to embark on a sports and social adventure. Every fall, new swimmers are recruited, new training sessions are arranged, and new parties are planned. The team consists of guys from all academic years, with no prior swimming experience required.

We have one training session per week led by our coach, always supplemented with sauna afterwards. The swimming team aims to have representatives in student games, and we're proud to have won gold medals in 2024 in Bergen, 2025 in Trondheim, and aim to defend the gold this fall at "Bergen Challenge 2026".

The swimming team has become a highly active part of the social environment at the school, and you can often find our swimmers participating in various activities and subcommittees within the student association. We also have long-standing traditions of going on an international trip during the semester, and organizing various other events together with other sports teams throughout the year.

For tryouts, we will meet outside the main entrance at NHH, remember to bring towels and swimwear!
