Big Business Band

Want to play in one of Bergen's best big bands alongside your studies?

Big Business Band is the student big band at NHH. We are now looking for new members, and welcome all students in Bergen to apply. We are a passionate and social group that gives you the opportunity to be part of an active student community at the school, catering to both social and musical interests. It does not matter if you haven't played your instrument for a while, everyone is welcome to apply!

BBB is an active part of student life at NHH, performing at a wide range of events both on and off campus. Internally, we often provide live music for occasions large and small, from gala dinners and formal receptions to parties and revues. Externally, we are regularly hired to play at private and public events, including weddings and christmas parties, where our repertoire ranges from from upbeat funk, pop and rock classics to more intricate jazz and instrumental music.

The social aspect is a huge part of the package! Our very own student bar in the basement is the epicenter of all the fun, and we also go on admission trips ("opptakstur") and other social gatherings outside of Bergen.
